What can I say except that I believe I have one of the best jobs in the world and live in the best area of the world. I have been selling real estate at Lake of the Ozarks, in Missouri since 1983. I have met and worked with some of the nicesst people and enjoyed helping them find just the right 2nd home, retirement home or very first home. I can't say enough about Lake of the Ozarks. Great seasonal climate, one of the best lakes in the United States, I believe 17 golf courses, boating, fishings, hunting, shopping and great restaurants. The area has been growing so fast that everytime I drive down Hwy 54 I see something that I swear was not there a few weeks ago. In the past 5 or so years, our commercial has grown with store like Lowes, Home Depot, HyVee, Marshalls, etc. and much more coming soon. That is because they believe that our area is going to grow immensely in the next few years. We have always been a vacation, second home market, but now we are becoming a full time and especially retirement area. We are centrally located in Missouri, only a couple of hours from Kansas City and St Louis. For years most of our buyers came mainly from those areas but with the interenet now we have buyers from all over the United States. Thats because they love our economical pricing and amenities. I am so fortunate to have raised my family here and to be able to live and work here.
